Starting from a young age I have always loved clothes. My mum would put me in one set of clothes in the morning and by the evening I would have changed at least 5 times. My sisters would moan and carry on but it was important that I had a different look all the time. I would always make sure my church outfit was accessorised and my shoes shined. My passion has developed and since opening my dressmaking business I have a sweet spot for amazing fabrics. I hope to pass the tradition on to my own little sweetheart one day!

My First Post!

Well it has taken me so long to start this blog! I have been dressmaking for the past 7 years part time in between 8 years of study and travelling to Canada to find my husband. I would like to introduce myself and hopefully inspire all those young women or men that have an interest in sewing. Not only sewing but fashion and other areas that inspire me to write about. Do hope you enjoy the journey.

    Congratulations Nadine. Look forward to hearing all your inspirational ideas and updates.
    Will have to work on making a birthday dress for little ones 6th birthday and completing her perfect little girls bedroom just the way she has been dreaming of it. The pictures you sent have got her imagination running wild.

    Thank you!I get a kick out of making someone happy. A special party dress will not be a problem. I will have to do a post on party dresses for girls. I am sure there will be plenty of pink and tulle which I love and very bias towards. Glad she is gathering some excitment for her new room.
