Starting from a young age I have always loved clothes. My mum would put me in one set of clothes in the morning and by the evening I would have changed at least 5 times. My sisters would moan and carry on but it was important that I had a different look all the time. I would always make sure my church outfit was accessorised and my shoes shined. My passion has developed and since opening my dressmaking business I have a sweet spot for amazing fabrics. I hope to pass the tradition on to my own little sweetheart one day!
So Spring is less than a week away and boy have I been busy. Bridal parties, brides and the hussle of Spring Carnivale is on my door step. Great to see everyone getting so excited about the sun coming out again and defrosting from this bitterly cold Melbourne Winter. Can not wait!
I just wanted to post some gorgeous inspiration for my followers and new clients. My favurite is the green gown. Vera Wang continues to impress. Have a look at her website as I just loved everything and wanted to post everything! The ready to wear collection is stunning too. Till the sun comes out, ENJOY!
Birds. I just love birds. I know that they have been around the design scene for sometime but the symbolic feel of birds always has me feeling free. I have come across this gorgeous jewellery designer called Naomi Murell. She has some stunning jewellery pieces that are so unique and gorgeous. Please check out her website and enjoy as much as I did.
Today I was stranded at Airport West shopping centre waiting for my car to have its full service. I never thought that 4 hours of waiting and shopping could be so exhausting! I walked out very happy as I have almost 5 different outfits all in a budget of $100!! Amazing when you shop with the sales, a little coupon booklet and common sense you can really save some cash! What a busy week I have had off. Time to start some serious sewing!
